Ruben has been working with the firm since 2002. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since the Spring of 2003. Ruben earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University - College Station with a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Finance (B.B.A.), in 1995. Ruben earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law, Lubbock, Texas in 2002. After graduating from Texas A&M, Ruben worked as a licensed stockbroker for a few years before beginning his graduate studies in Law in 1999. As a law student, Ruben clerked for the Securities and Exchange Commission in Fort Worth, Texas. He also received several honors such as the Phi Delta Phi honorary member award, Dean's List (Spring 2000 & 2002), Phi Delta Phi Highest Grade Award for the study of Constitutional Law and the CALI Highest Grade Award for the study of Criminal Procedure. Ruben is admitted to practice law in Texas and the United States District Court, Western District of Texas.
